Dayle Swift retires from Board after 36 years.

During Lyon-Lincoln Electric's 70th Annual meeting, held on June 3rd, Dayle Swift was recognized for his 36 years of service as a director of the cooperative.
During Dayle's 36 years of service he served as President of the Board for 17 years and represented Lyon-Lincoln Electric members on the East River Board for 16 years.
Minnesota Rural Electric Cooperative General Manager Mark Glaess wrote, "Few directors exhibited the care, the concern and the passion for the electric cooperative member. Dayle was particularly effective in the Minnesota Legislature or the Halls of Congress in defense or in opposition to legislation that would hurt Lyon-Lincoln’s member-owners. In that fashion, and so many others, Dayle really took care of his “guys”. We all are so appreciative to Dayle for the passion he put into the electric Cooperative program.”
East River General Manager Jeff Nelson commented, "Your remarkable 36 year tenure and important leadership as a member of the Lyon-Lincoln Board is an accomplishment that will be matched by few and exceeded by none.”
The membership unanimously elected Sandy Ludeman to replace Dayle as director on the Board from District 2.
