Energy Assistance
The Stay Warm Minnesota campaign features a new website for information and resources to help Minnesota families get through another cold winter. The website www.staywarm.mn.gov is a collaborative effort between state government agencies, the stat's major utilities, and several nonprofit organziations in the energy and socail servic fields.
The Stay Warm website includes information on energy efficiency and conservation, heating assistance programs, winter safety tips and links to local, state and national energy websites. The collection of energy tips on a variety of topics designed for homeowners and renters to help use energy wisely and effeciently.
The Energy Assistance Program from Western Community Action and Prairie Five Community Action Councils provides home heating assistance, crisis prevention, energy-related repairs, energy conservation, emergency assistance adn referrals to other programs and services.
