Electric bills are mailed on or about the 1st day of each month. The bill is due on the date you receive it. Payments must be in our office on or before the 20th of the month. Payments not received by the 21st are considered past due and subject to the late payment charge.
You may pay your bill by mail, through the direct payment plan, or in person at the cooperative office in Tyler. The cooperative’s regular business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays. An after-hours depository box is located on the east side of the office allowing you to pay your bill at your convenience. Please call us toll free on 1-800-927-6276, if you have questions about your bill or need to resolve payment problems.
To help you control fluctuating monthly bills, the cooperative offers a budget billing plan. This convenient service is based on an estimate of your past electrical usage. You make eleven equal monthly payments during the year, and in the twelfth month, your payment will be adjusted upward or downward to account for any difference between the amount of kwh's actually used and the total amount paid during the year. Periodic reviews are conducted to insure that payments are adequate to cover usage and costs. These reviews also reduce the possibility of a large debit or credit balance.
